Demand for SCP’s IT Security Certification Continues to Skyrocket

Prometric and The Security Certified Program Extend Partnership

BALTIMORE, MD. April 24, 2007 – Prometric, the global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment services, today announced that The Security Certified Program (SCP) has extended its contract with Prometric to administer its network security certification exams worldwide. SCP is one of the largest providers of IT security certifications to employees of the Federal Government and businesses of all sizes.

SCP’s rapidly growing security certification programs address critical security concerns facing all organizations, and are an ideal option for compliance with Department of Defense Directive 8570.1, which specifies IT security certifications for all “privileged users” or for jobs that pose an increased level of information assurance risk.
