Security Certified Network Architect

Advanced IT Security Education

The Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA) program is about trust. Students will learn to work with a variety of hardware and software and gain an understanding of sound network security strategies and policies.  The core courses, Advanced Security Implementation and Enterprise Security Solutions prepare students for the SC0-501 and SC0-502 exams.

Prerequisites
Students must have successfully completed the Strategic Infrastructure Security exam, SC0-471, and hold an SCNP certification in good standing.  **This is not an introductory level course.**  Students need to understand the fundamentals of networks and networking as well as network security before attending any of the SCNA courses.

Class 1:  Advanced Security Implementation (ASI)
Advanced Security Implementation examines and explains the technologies required to build a trusted network.  Learn more aout the class.

Class 2:  Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS)
Enterprise Security Solutions begins with a discussion of the needs and requirements of building a trusted network and ends with a lab where the tasks and concepts of both the ASI and ESS book are brought together to build a network based on trust.  Learn more about the class.

Exam:  SC0-501
The exam covers all the elements of the Advanced Security Implementation class AND the Enterprise Security Solutions class. It includes the following domains:

Exam:  SC0-502
The final exam, SC0-502, is 100% scenario-based, drawing from ALL FOUR SCP courses. Each question will present a complex network environment, including quotes from key employees regarding the network, its performance, and security.

The SC0-502 exam is available worldwide through both Prometric and VUE Testing Centers.
